About the Role

As a Commis de Rang, you will be part of the team responsible for delivering attentive, polished and personal service throughout our Food & Beverage operation.

Working closely with the wider restaurant, bar and kitchen teams, you will support the smooth running of service while ensuring guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.

This is a hands-on guest-facing role for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in presentation and wants to develop their knowledge and experience within a high-quality boutique environment.

What You Will Do

• Welcome guests warmly and help create a relaxed, polished and attentive dining experience.
• Support the preparation and mise en place of the restaurant and service areas before each service.
• Assist with taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Present food and drinks professionally while maintaining the standards expected across 1912 Collection Marbella.
• Develop a strong knowledge of our menus, ingredients, dishes and beverages so that you can confidently assist guests with questions and recommendations.
• Pay attention to guest preferences, dietary requirements and special requests and communicate these clearly to the relevant colleagues.
• Anticipate guest needs throughout service and respond naturally rather than waiting to be asked.
• Work closely with colleagues across the restaurant, bar and kitchen to ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent presentation, cleanliness and organisation across tables and guest-facing service areas.
• Assist with clearing, resetting and preparing tables while ensuring the restaurant remains polished throughout service.
• Respond positively and professionally to guest requests and communicate any concerns promptly to senior colleagues.
• Help create the warm, individual and memorable hospitality experience that defines 1912 Collection Marbella.

About You

You are naturally attentive, enjoy working with people and understand that excellent restaurant service is often about noticing the small details before the guest needs to ask.

You work well as part of a team, remain composed during busy services and take genuine pride in delivering a high standard of hospitality.

• Previous experience within a restaurant, hotel or guest-facing hospitality environment would be an advantage.
• Experience within a luxury, five-star or high-end boutique hospitality environment would be particularly welcomed.
• A warm, friendly and professional approach to guests.
• A genuine interest in food, beverage and restaurant service.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
• The ability to remain organised and attentive during busy periods of service.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues wherever needed.
• Confidence interacting naturally and professionally with an international clientele.
• A genuine desire to create memorable experiences for every guest.
